How can you help a child that has no motivation to read? I love to make personalized books for my students, especially for my students who lack that motivation to read. With personalized books, I can focus on the skills or words that each student needs. Also, I know that my students are reading (and thus, they are practicing at home because they really want to share the books with their family). Here is an example of one of my personalized books (I drew an “X” over the faces and I changed the names to protect my students).
